Packerland is looking for someone who can sell and lead at the same time. This is a player-coach role where your ability to produce revenue and drive accountability across a team will determine your success. You will be a part of our leadership team and help define our growth path for the future.

The Role

This is a hands-on sales leadership role.

You will spend the majority of your time:

  • Prospecting
  • Closing new business
  • Developing existing accounts

At the same time, you will:

  • Lead a small sales team
  • Establish structure and consistency
  • Hold the team accountable to activity and results

This role reports directly to ownership and plays a key role in shaping the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution (Player)

  • Own and achieve an individual sales quota
  • Generate new business through active prospecting
  • Expand existing accounts through value-based selling
  • Manage territory, pipeline, and opportunities
  • Deliver proposals, follow up, and close business
  • Maintain accurate CRM data

Sales Leadership (Coach)

  • Lead and hold the team accountable to activity and performance standards
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones and pipeline reviews
  • Establish and enforce a consistent sales process
  • Drive discipline around prospecting and CRM usage
  • Lead by example in effort, urgency, and professionalism

Business Development & Strategy

  • Partner with ownership to identify growth opportunities
  • Support key deals, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning
  • Strengthen alignment and communication across the sales function
  • Represent the company in the local market and industry events

What Success Looks Like

  • You are producing revenue consistently
  • The sales pipeline is active, visible, and managed with discipline
  • The team understands expectations and is held accountable
  • Revenue is growing—and the path to get there is clear

Qualifications

  • 1–5+ years of B2B sales experience (service-based preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience leading or holding others accountable
  • Strong prospecting, closing, and territory management skills
  • Comfortable managing a pipeline and using CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Experience

  • Industry experience in uniforms, facility services, or related fields
  • Existing relationships in the local market
  • Prior experience in a player-coach or sales leadership role

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $60,000–$80,000 + uncapped commission
